Our priority in Ector County ISD is to support student success every day. Research shows a huge contributor to student success is support from home. The feedback collected from families during the 2020 – 2021 school year was interest in guidance to successfully support students from home. Many ECISD departments have joined forces to create an opportunity for any interested parents/guardians, staff or community members during our “ECISD emPOWERed” events.

These engagement opportunities throughout the school year will include virtual sessions & organized community engagement opportunities and will build a toolbox of skills for the adults that support our ECISD learners!

The focus for these opportunities will be social emotional skills, digital citizenship action steps and how to prepare our students for their future that can all be done from home. We hope that you will help us in sharing this opportunity with all ECISD families…who will you invite to join us?
